12-year-old boy sodomized by neighbor in Gondal

On the pretext of showing a video on his mobile phone a 30 year old neighbor called a 12 year old boy to his house. The accused allegedly sodomized the boy and later threatened him not to talk about the incident. But the boy mentioned to the incident to the father who confronted the accused. On confrontation the accused attacked the father and escaped.

Over 10 years on, survivor of sexual abuse gets justice

After a decade-and-a-half long wait, justice has finally been meted out to a girl who was sexually abused as a minor. A case was registered in October 2003, against an old man who sexually abused a minor girl several times. The old man took advantage of the financial situation of the girl child and offered financial help to their family. It was also found that there were other minor girls always in his house. Nude photographs of the girls found in his house. The court stated that “The interest of children should be taken care of. Children should not be allowed to be abused by anti-social elements. The object of awarding the sentence should be to protect society and to deter criminals from acting with the objective to break the law,” the court held.

Serial sex offender gets 7-year jail term

In 2013-14, many complaints were received by police from the western suburbs of a repeat offender sexually abusing minor girls. According to the police, the then unknown offender, had accosted many minor girls by telling them that he was known to their father or other relatives. He would then ask them to accompany him to a secluded building and sexually abuse them.

According to Ansari’s lawyer, he is facing at least 25 cases in all. The Mumbai police had arrested him on the basis of CCTV footage which captured him kidnapping the 10-year-old victim at Amboli. Ansari has been convicted multiple times by various courts.

Pune: Minor boy sexually abused in remand home

Multiple cases of children from a remand home have reported being sexually abused. Reports of nine boys escaping such remand homes due to sexual assault.

Two children were sexually abused by an inmate who was 20-years-old. As per the statement of the victims they were sexually abused during the night, near the toilet andwere threatened to be killed if they complained. The incident came to light after the care taker observed bruises on the bodies of the victims. On questioning them, they said they were forced, beaten and sexually abused for over one week.

He is accused of sexually exploiting a minor girl on the pretext of giving her a break in movies.

Two arrested for raping 13-year-old boy in Pune

Pappu Ram Jadhav (28) and Vijay Sawla Mane (30) were arrested by the police for raping a 13-year old boy. The victim was playing with his friend who went to nearby shop to buy chewing gum when the accused approached the boy on the bike, took him to Jadhav’s brother’s house and raped him in turns. They dropped the victim near his house and threatened him of dire consequences if he mentioned anything about the incident to anyone. He then narrated the incident to his parents after reaching home who then filed a complaint.

A 26 year old man was arrested for raping a mentally challenged teenage girl after she was found pregnant. The victim studies at a school meant for specially-abled children and her parents were not aware of the incident until they found out about her pregnancy. The accused lured the girl to go with him to the building’s terrace in exchange of money.

Minor, living in a child care home, complains of sexual abuse

J Madhav Rao, a 45-year old man who runs Adarana child care home was booked after a 14-year old girl living there complained about sexual abuse by him. The victim told the police that he woke her up at 3am everyday and took her to his room and harassed her sexually. A case has been registered against absconding Madhav under POCSO Act and a team is searching for him. The girl has been shifted to another home.

Teenage Dalit girl raped in Telangana

Teenage Girl Alleges Sexual Assault at Hyderabad Orphanage

A 14-year-old girl living in a private orphanage in Hyderabad has alleged that she and other inmates at the orphanage were being sexually abused by the man who is in charge of looking after their welfare.
The victim told her teachers that in the early hours of the morning, the founder of the orphanage would call her to his room and abuse her. Hyderabad police has registered a complaint and the girl has been shifted to a government home.

District and session court, Sangli convicted a 35-year-old-man raping a minor and sentenced him to 12 years rigorous imprisonment. Accused who was acquainted with the victim and her family members noticed that victim was alone and exploited the situation to rape her. When the victim tried to raise alarm for help, he threatened her and later told her not to speak about the incident to anyone and ran away from the spot. When the victim’s mother and brother came home after sometime, she narrated the incident to her mother. Following this her mother called her relatives and all went to the police station and lodged complaint with the police station. Police later arrested the accused.

17-year-old girl raped by four classmates at friend’s birthday party

3-year-old girl sexually abused by bus driver in Bengaluru

A 64 year old man and his wife were arrested in connection with molestation of their 5-year old granddaughter. The couple was arrested from Mumbai and while the man was arrested for molesting the minor girl repeatedly, his wife was held on charges of aiding and abetting the crime. The complaint was lodged by the girl’s parents on June 28 who alleged that their daughter was first molested in March last year as she complained of persistent pain in her private parts.

Bhopal: Auto-rickshaw driver rapes minor, absconds

Javed Khan, a rickshaw driver who used to ferry the girl to and fro the madrasa daily, kidnapped and raped her in an abandoned house. The 14-year old girl returned home and narrated the incident to her father and uncle and subsequently the matter was reported to the police.

A 67-year old drawing teacher was arrested for molesting a 14-year old girl in his private class. The accused forced the girl to sit on his lap and molested her around 12noon. He let off the teenager only after she raised an alarm. The incident came to light after the girl narrated the incident to her mother who then filed a complaint.

Priest arrested for raping 10-yr-old girl in neighborhood

A priest allegedly raped a 10-year-old girl living in her neighborhood in southeast Delhi’s Jaitpur area According to the police, the incident took place when the girl, a student of Class 4, returned from school and entered her house. As her parents were away for work, the accused saw the victim alone and entered the house behind her and assaulted her. The victim narrated the whole incident to her mother who complained to the police. The police raided the suspect’s house and he was arrested.

Initially, the police held it was case of murder but after the postmortem report confirmed rape. Madras HC rejects sexual abuse FIR filed by girl against father, brother

15-year-old girl from Haldwani near Nainital, who was allegedly raped by her uncle, gave birth to a child. The teenaged survivor did not reveal the crime till her pregnancy was in the sixth month. The baby was born almost a week ago.The matter came to light after a dispute arose among the girl’s relatives about adopting the baby. Ultimately, the district administration and the police had to intervene, after which the baby was handed over to the maternal grandparents of the survivor.

A teenager was arrested for raping a minor girl at an abandoned mall in Bhandup. A maintenance worker who recorded the incident and a security guard of the mall who circulated the video among his friends have also been arrested. The girl’s father received the video clip and confronted his daughter who told him that the youngster had forcibly taken her to the mall in Bhandup and raped her. The father then approached the police.

32-year-old gets 5 years in jail for molesting a child

A Delhi court has sentenced a 32-year-old man for five years for sexually assaulting an 8-year-old child in east Delhi. The incident took place on June 13, 2014, when the child had gone to her grandfather’s home during summer vacations. The accused assaulted the minor on the terrace while she was playing and then threatened her with a knife. The traumatized child then insisted that she be taken to her paternal grandmother’s home. Two days later, she narrated her ordeal to her cousin, who immediately informed her parents.

Police are searching for a man, after he sexually assaulted an 8-year old girl. The girl and her family members lived on a footpath. The accused had dinner, as he was her father’s friend, with them, after which he left and the family went to sleep. However, the girl was awake when the accused returned and asked her to accompany him. As she knew the man, she went with him. After finding that she was missing, a complaint was filed. On questioning the girl after she returned, the girl told them about the assault.

Two brothers convicted for raping their minor siblings

POCSO court convicted two brothers arrested in 2015 for sexually assaulting their minor sisters. While the younger one (21) was sentenced to 10 years’ imprisonment for raping the 16-year-old victim, the older brother (23), has been sentenced to seven years’ imprisonment for sexually assaulting his 12-year-old sister. Their mother (42) too was convicted and sentenced to two years in jail for brutally abusing the victims and inflicting burn injuries when they tried to confide in her. The incident came to light when the sister narrated it to their neighbor who then reported to the police.

MLA accused of raping minor appointed to House panel in Meghalaya

Activists in Meghalaya have slammed the state’s Congress-led coalition government for retaining an insurgent leader-turned-MLA, who has been in judicial custody since December for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl, in two Assembly committees. The 51-year-old independent MLA, representing the Mawhati constituency, was arrested for allegedly raping a girl at a Shillong guest house. In an FIR, the victim had named at least eight people. The alleged rape came to light after a waiter of the guest house was arrested for allegedly trafficking the victim.

Missionary school father arrested for trying to molest a class VIII boy

Fr Leo D’Souza, a 50-year old hostel manager of Amar Jyoti High Secondary school was arrested for trying to molest a class VIII boy. The 13-year-old boy, who had enrolled in the school and the hostel a fortnight ago, informed his family recently about Fr Leo D’Souza trying to sexually harass him, who then lodged a complaint.

Man arrested for raping 10-year-old step-daughter

The accused – a 40-year old man was arrested for raping his 10-year old stepdaughter. The incident came to light when the accused tried raping the girl after her mother was out. However, the victim’s mother came home and caught the accused red-handed. The girl also informed her mother that the accused had raped her a fortnight ago when she was alone at home. The woman with the help of her neighbors caught the accused and thrashed him before handing him over to the police.

16-year-old girl sedated, sexually assaulted by 3 men

The police arrested Manoj Sharma, a 27-year old electrician working at a multiplex chain in DLF-2 for molesting 4-year old daughter of his neighbor. He was arrested while escaping from the city. Sharma had lured the child into his rented room, when her mother was cooking. He then sexually assaulted the girl after removing her undergarment. The girl ran out of the room and told her mother about the incident.

14-year-old girl raped in Jaipur, accused on the run

The accused, a 24-year old man named Zameel Khan was booked by the police for raping her neighbor. A report was filed by the victim’s parents, who stated that Khan sneaked into their house in night and abducted their daughter. The accused abducted minor at knife point and threatened to harm her siblings and then raped her. The girl narrated her ordeal to her mother the next day.

Mohit, a 20-year old Maruti Suzuki employee was arrested by the police for raping a 16-year old Class IX student for two months on the pretext of marriage. The incident came to light when the girl complained of severe abdominal pain and was taken to a doctor by her mother. At the clinic it was confirmed that the girl was one-month pregnant.

Dog trainer held for raping 11-year-old

Raj Kumar, a 40-year old dog trainer was arrested by the police for abducting and then raping an 11-year old child. The victim told the police that the youth had stopped her while she was returning from school and asked the way to a temple in the locality. Even after giving him directions, the youth insisted that she guide him and took her along. After they reached the temple, the youth held a knife at her throat and dragged her into a park. He forced her to disrobe and then raped her. He threatened to kill her if she screamed for help.

Chhattisgarh govt employee draws flake for posting kissing video with minor on FB

A government employee is under investigation after posting a video on Facebook showing him kissing and biting the cheeks of a three-year-old girl even as she keeps telling him: “Aisa nahin karte. After he posted the video on Facebook, a woman brought this to the notice of CCPCR in March this year. The then chairperson Shatabdi Pandey found the video objectionable and promised action.

Minor retracts statement in assault case but trial will still go ahead

According to court records, the child had alleged that the accused had taken him to the roof of his house and sexually assaulted him. The five year old victim retracted the statement the he narrated in 164 CrPC. The court stated that the trail will still go ahead until the CCTV report and the FSL for the court to arrive to a conclusion.

Chandigarh: Man sentenced to 5-yr RI for sexually assaulting minor

A local court Saturday sentenced a man to five years rigorous imprisonment (RI) for allegedly sexually harassing a differently-abled minor girl. The orders were passed by the court of additional district and sessions judge Poonam K Joshi. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 50,000 on the convict Dr.Satnam Singh, a physiotherapist by profession.

Thane man convicted of stalking minor gets 1-day punishment

Despite the warning, a 20 year old was stalking a 15 year old girl. He went to the tuition class one day and kept staring at her. The tuition teacher noticed this and directed him to leave the place. The accused, however, didn’t budge and began singing a song. The girl then informed her mother again and a police complaint was lodged. He had approached the victim in 2014 when she was alone at home with her younger brother. He then introduced himself as a policeman and said that she will be taken into the police force as she had good marks in Class X. He then sent the victim’s younger brother outside and said the measurement of her body was required for entry into the police force. He then sexually abused her, but when she began screaming, he left the house in panic. The victim informed her mother and a police complaint was lodged.

According to the complaint filed by the girl’s family, residents of the area had hired a private van to ferry their children from school. After the assault, he dropped her one kilometer away from her house and fled. The child, a nursery student, started crying and complained of stomach ache and pain in her private parts after coming home. She was also bleeding. The girl reported her traumatic experience at the parlor to her mother, stating that the masseur had let his hands stray to the upper parts of her right leg during the pedicure, and the pedicure itself had lasted much longer than usual. The Madras High Court quashed an FIR against man and his son booked under POCSO on a complaint by his daughter against them. The girl, studying in class IX, had alleged that her father had sexually abused her before puberty and her brother had taken a picture of her taking bath. However, the judge quashed the FIR saying that there was no pornographic picture available to implicate the father and brother.
