Summary: The Aarambh India Initiative is looking for a full-time person, based out of or willing to move to Mumbai, for the post of Communications Manager.
The position would require you to conceptualise, design and implement The Aarambh India Initiative’s Communications strategy.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Conceptualise, design and implement The Aarambh India Initiatives communication strategy
- Develop & implement ideas for communication products with other program managers towards impactful dissemination of knowledge & information on relevant issues.
- Drive online community engagement through social media & other digital platforms
- Explore new avenues of storytelling – both online & on-ground.
- Liaise with like-minded organizations towards partnerships & collaborations.
- Develop, write and publish articles, newsletters & reports.
- Document & showcase stories and experiences that reflect the organizational work, spirit & vision.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 1– 5 years of years of demonstrated experience in communications, content writing, marketing, and social media strategy.
- Excellent English reading and writing skills. The ability to read, write and translate to other regional & national languages is a plus.
- Familiarity with Basic Platforms & tools like wordpress, mailchimp, instagram, facebook, twitter etc is expected. A working knowledge of photo editing tools, audio-video editing tools is a plus. Candidates must be open to learning new tools and communication ideas.
- Must have passion for working on child rights coupled with nuanced understanding & openness to engage with and understand various intersections & on-ground realities.
- Candidates should display an ability to work collaboratively in a team and in alignment with The Aarambh India Initiative’s creative vision. They must exhibit efficiency and an ability to prioritise and plan.
