Most offenders in Child Sexual Abuse Cases are Previously Known to the Child. A large majority of offenders are fathers, grandfathers, uncles, neighbors etc. Stranger abuse cases are few in comparison.

- Indian or a Foriegner
- Rich or Middle Class or Poor
- From any reglious/caste background
- Handsome or Ugly
- Married or Unmarried
An offender does not have any special physical or social markers. They look like you and me. They can be anyone.
