Mathura was raped in 1972 by two policemen in a police station. She was 16 years old.

Mathura rape case brought the conversation of rape to the national level for the first time. The insensitivity of the system was visible when she was raped in the police station by police officers on duty. The insensitivity continued when the courts rejected the case by saying ‘she raised no alarm and was habituated to sex’. The documetary educates us about the case that happened in 1972.
