Meri Trustline – 6363176363: India’s Bharosemand Helpline for Reporting Online Risks

Meri Trustline, an initiative of Mumbai-based RATI Foundation, is India’s helpline for anyone facing online sexual abuse, cyberbullying or the sharing of private photos or videos without consent.

We offer free, confidential and non-judgmental support through phone, WhatsApp and email. Our team works with social media platforms, police and other safety and protection systems to ensure that victims get quick and caring help.

WHAT WE DO

We help those experiencing online harm through five kinds of support:

  1. Content Takedown: We help remove leaked photos and videos, fake and harassing accounts, deepfakes and other harmful content. As India’s Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) partner, we also report and remove child sexual abuse material (CSAM) online.
  2. Mental Health Support: Our trained counsellors offer emotional support and therapy on a short-term and long-term basis.
  3. Legal Guidance: We enable victims to file police or platform complaints and stay involved with the victim through the process.
  4. Technical Help: We assist in securing accounts and improving online safety of callers.
  5. Social Referrals: We connect survivors with welfare services and other support systems.
